Kinusaiga is a Japanese art form that involves tucking small pieces of fabric into cuts in foam. This creates a no-sew quilt or collage like piece of art that anyone can enjoy.
This is very beginner friendly and is really easy to learn.
Each Kit contains:
1- precut 8 x8 x 1.5 inch foam insulation board covered on 5 sides with double sided adhesive tape. On the top will be the template for the design that was chosen
1-stitch ripper to be used as a tucking tool
1- ribbon to finish the edges of the piece
15-pieces of fabric which complement the chosen template
Instructions for completing the artwork
Not included with the kit:
Scissors to cut the fabric
hot glue gun and glue to secure the ribbon for finishing of the sides
I wanted to keep costs down and not be responsible for sharp objects in the mail! So each piece comes pre-cut into the foam so that you can focus on the most satisfying part which is designing and constructing the artwork. To keep costs down, I have assumed that most people have access to scissors and are able to borrow or secure their own hot glue gun for finishing.
I have provided a link below which will redirect you to the ecommerce website I have for my fine art. It helps me to keep costs down by only paying once to have the ability to sell online!
I may change this going forward but for now, I will be selling the kits through my fine art website www.melissapassmoreart.com
It will take me 1-4 days to get your order ready and shipped. The item will be shipped with tracking.
For US orders, there is an additional fee to cover tariffs and there may be delays in you receiving your order if it is held up at customs. There will be no refunds for extended wait times for items shipped to the US as these circumstances are outside of my control, and can change suddenly.
